ESA offers four specialised educational safari courses, which you can join on one of our set date departures, or specially booked and adapted to the requirements of each University or school.
All of the courses take place in the Okavango Delta. A dynamic, unique ecosystem of open permanent water channels, seasonal floodplains and a mosaic of islands and grasslands.
ESA has an exclusive camp on the banks of the panhandle of the Okavango River where we teach you the skills required to collect ecological monitoring and field research data and learn the importance of working with local communities. After learning about the Delta in our camp we visit and work on nearby game farms and journey into the heart of the Okavango Delta in a private concession to practise the skills you‘ve learnt.
We offer three 12 day, 11 night safaris, all of which cost US$1680 per person and one 28 day, 27 night safari, costing US$2970 per person. These prices include all tuition and activities, transport within Botswana and 3 hearty meals a day with unlimited tea, coffee and water. A pay bar is available for soft and alcoholic drinks. Travel to and from Botswana, insurance and other personal costs are not included.
